This is what gets kicked out of the cop's hands and dragged across the floor instead of using a real weapon. Known as "Drop Guns" in the industry these single shot guns are basically disposable "Stunt Prop Guns" as they cost a fraction of the real thing. H&F Manufacture EXPORT MODEL with Hop Up. SPECIAL NOTE ON REALISM: Although this product may look similar to the real thing when compared side by side they are NOT identical. While they may share some of the same cosmetic features / external shape the internal & external mechanisms for actual operation are in fact completely different from the real thing. Of course this is NOT are real weapon nor is it manufactured by GLOCK. The real weapon's manufacture has NO relationship to this airsoft product which is styled after the real thing. Thus any mention of or use of trade names is done in reference to the real weapon and NOT the airsoft product. No MFI offered product has any Trademarks or other IPR use on it. We do this to be sure that there is NO CONFUSION IN THE MARKET.

If you own a Marui MP5A3 single shot SMG this pistol blow it away in terms of realism. Of course the Marui MP5A3 was first made in 1984 and has remained unchanged and has never been updated. This pistol is all new manufacture and is sure to impress you. Do not let the low price fool you... It is low because MFI is in essence the manufacture and we bring this to you without markup from a middleman. There are no scares from Trademarks being removed as we have this item manufactured without using protected IPR of other companies. Stampings and markings of HF are in the same location as this on the real gun giving an added feel of realism.

The G-17 is state of the art in low volume air guns. Commonly known as Air Soft this model is SINGLE SHOT and is SPRING powered. You cock the gun for every shot by pulling back on the slide. Unlike many other single shot pistols the HF/MFI has an open ejection port just like the real weapon. Other companies mold the slide, ejection port and barrel all as one unit, which results in lack of realism as there are fewer moving parts. This airsoft bb gun also has the last shot slide lock open mechanism just as on real weapons to indicate to the user this there are no more bbs in the magazine. Pop a new magazine in and press the button (same as real thing) and away you go. NOTE: Magazines are full one to one scale too! None of this half mag or molded into the body (non-removable crap) this other manufactures use.

SPECIAL NOTE ON SLIDE LOCK BACK AFTER LAST BB IS SHOT: As all single shots do NOT have slides that move by themselves... Your had is what cocks the gun... This is what single shot means. The last shot lock on the slide works the same as on the real thing with the exception that your hand is making the slide move back and forth. So on the last shot... Once you pull the trigger and then pull the slide back and then release with your hand... the slide will NOT move forward to feed the next bb as there is NO bb in the magazine to feed and (like the real weapon) this is achieved as there is a small tab in the grip / frame that senses that the magazine is empty and this tab moves upwards to block the slide from going forward.

HF manufactures the G-17 with special upgrade for MFI. Please note this like most single shot air soft guns this model has a non-adjustable HOP UP. The HOP UP is set at maximum elevation to achieve best results at about 35 feet. Material of Construction: Body is ABS Plastic. Barrel, Internal parts etc. are metal. The BBs used are the industry standard 6mm plastic type.

MFI upgraded airsoft guns have moved away from the over powered versions we did 5+ years ago that were only good for target shooting. As gaming with airsoft has grown we are forced to follow the current trends and customer requests for less dangerous airsoft guns. Thus all our upgraded guns are well within the limits / requirements for gaming.

Most of the air guns we sell are technically not "Air Soft" as these are all EXPORT MODELS that make use of slightly higher compression springs, motors and gears that would be illegal in most countries where air soft guns are manufactured. Additionally our particular air guns have been re-designed to accommodate the use of metallic (6mm) ammunition.

As this model is a single shot airsoft gun you can expect the following in terms of MFI Custom Upgrades:

• Exteroir / Cosmetic: Most single shot airsoft guns pale in comparison in terms of detail and looks to their bigger brothers the Gas Blow Back or the Electric SMGs. After all you get what you pay for and separate parts cast in different tonal qualities cost much more than just a uniform black plastic. Any time you see an airsoft gun on our site listing the manufacture as _ / MFI (for example: HF / MFI) then this is what has been done to it.

  • MFI privately contracts for a special run of this weapon. We pay for specific changes in the tooling (far less costly than buying an entire new set of tool and dies @ $100,000.00) like more detail, more texture, thicker plastic, separation of tooling to accommodate more color / tonal variances between parts (i.e. subtle shade differences in gray / black tones making the gun more life-like.), change of IPR stampings to either be removed or replaced with similar yet not in violation of International IPR Laws.

  • Added lead weight to make the weapon heavier and thus more realistic to the touch.

  • NOTE: The use of thicker plastic does not allow us to use the heavier springs in these guns (_ / MFI) as the thicker walls reduce the interior space. This is why we sometimes carry two seemingly identical guns at different prices. MFI wishes to offer you the choice between the best looking and feeling vs. the most powerful. Unfortunately you can not really have both.
  
  

• Spring Rate: This is mostly in reference to Tokyo Marui manufactured product. In the Marui line up there are always 3-5 different power options. In Japan there are strict regulations as to what age group can have what power range. MFI purchases all it's Marui airsoft guns with the most powerful mechanism available, which is often restricted to Export only. These same models are available in lesser power for less money. We prefer to buy the very best even if it is at a premium. So in this case you are paying for what is on the inside NOT the outside. (See above specifications for this specific gun in regards to FPS. Remember there is a variance from shot to shot, gun to gun, case to case in each production run of any individual model. Installed at the factory by trained factory technicians.
