Custom Period Correct MP40 Muzzle Nut / Thread Protector (Super Rare Russian Front Deep Slanted Groove Style):
This is the rarest of the MP40 Muzzle Nuts from WWII. Next to impossible to find outside a museum.
This version was made after the straight groove versions with the deeper cuts / more course grooves seized up in the cold weather of the Russian Front. The added slant gave the end-user added leverage and grip upon removal.
This item is Plug and Play with the Original WWII MP40 thread.
Yes way more costly than the GSG standard, but that is because I have to:

- Trim both ends to the correct WWII length.
- Contour / Break the edges to the correct radius.
- Bore out the center.
- Tap the hole to the correct WWII thread pattern.
- Chamfer the tapped hole to be period correct.
- Re-Plate to similar period correct coating.
- Made from Weapons Grade Steel.
- Finish: Mil. Spec. Black Oxide Finish to most closely simulate a finish that is found on the WWII MP40.
