First off I list this item as a GSG / ATI .22 LR only because many customers think that GSG also make the .22 LR version of the MP-40. The fact is these are contracted by Blue Line Solutions and not GSG / ATI, so this reference is ONLY so customers can find this product when searching on-line. This will NOT fit the GSG / ATI MP40 in 9mm, but I do make Barrel Extensions, Fake Silencers , Barrel Shrouds for the GSG MP-40 in 9mm as well.

The Blueline Solutions MP40 in .22 caliber utilizes a simple straight barrel shroud / fake silencer to accommodate the 16” required length of the barrel on a carbine and thus is not reminiscent in any way of the silencers the Germans used during WWII.

The MFI Barrel Shroud / Faux Suppressor mimics the Ultra Rare Real WWII L-42 Silencer for the MP-40 SMG. The Nazis only produced perhaps 350 units of the L42 Suppressor and only a hand full survived to this day.

I have taking liberties with the design, mostly in it's scale as the real one is nearly 12” long and has a very large outer diameter. So I scaled it back to be the same length as the existing Blue Line MP40 fake silencer.

NOTE: This items will fit the Blue Line Solutions MP40 Carbine in .22 LR caliber plug and play.

In the first photo you will see exactly what you will receive, which is the solid shroud with a High Temperature O-Ring. You do not need to use the O-Ring as the MFI L42 Shroud will bottom out just like the original Blue Line shroud does. The O-Ring is there to time the shroud to a specific location if you have it laser engraved or hand stamped. I will be offering laser engraving identical to the originals as well.
