Fake Silencers are also known as: Dummy Can, Faux Suppressor, Mock Silencer, Fake Suppressor, Barrel Shroud & Non Functional Sound Suppressor.

This product fits ONLY the HK94, HK-94 Clones with 16" barrels without the 3 lug like the Zenith Z-5 / PTR 9R / Uzi Carbine or Special Weapons SP10.

Not for use on the Zenith Z5 or the HK SP5 as I have specific shrouds just for those products.

These are designed for LIVE FIRING.

We test all our Fake Silencers / Barrel Shrouds to be 100% sure that they function shot after shot without any problems.

This is the latest version of the MFI SOCOM for all HK94s and Clones of the 16" barrel carbine.

This new style simulates the new and current version that Knights Armament makes for the HK MP5, which follows the style of the KAC SR25 and M110 suppressed weapons platforms. In keeping with the new style we are not engraving these as the real engravings use HK and KAC logos and nomenclature. Additionally those engravings are towards the rear of the shroud / fake silencer / faux suppressor can, which to me looks a bit odd.

Any local trophy shop can engrave the MFI SOCOM with whatever custom engraving you wish.

What makes the MFI SOCOM Fake Silencers UNIQUE from all other real or fake silencers is:

The Product is INDEXABLE to the ANY POSITION! So if you want the dimples in a specific location or if you get it engraved you can 100% control the final location of the test or image.

The HK-94 or Uzi Carbine Fake Silencer slides over your barrel and is held on by 3 steel tipped set screws that will hold it securely, but also will mark / dent your barrel. These set screws are hidden in the rear section in the dimples.

The last photo is a mock up as I do not have a current HK94 or Clone with 16" barrel here in Ca. with me.

The SOCOM UZI / HK94 / MODEL is designed for LIVE WEAPONS and will fit: HK94, Vector, PTR 9R, Hesse MP5, Special Weapons SW5, Bobcat MP5 or any weapon with exposed barrel length greater than 7.75 inches and with outer barrel diameters close to 0.60 (15.4mm) = HK94 or 0.630 (16mm) = UZI.

MFI has produced a legal version of the SOCOM Knights Armament Silencer aka KAC M110 or SR-25 (to meet current BATF specifications for a Fake Silencer / Non-Functional / Cosmetic Only ) here in the USA. MFI has been a Class II BAFT 07 Manufacturer + SOT & a DOD / Military Contractor so we have access to the real thing here to take measurements off of to assure as close a match as possible. The only areas where we deviate from the original in, is that the Depth of the holes are deeper to reduce weight and add a greater 3D effect.

Materials of construction:

The Shroud's' Body is entirely made out of 6061 T-6 Aircraft Grade Aluminum. It is one solid piece and has no moving parts.

NOTE: Due to the lack of time we had for inspection, some of the shrouds will have what appears to be defects in the anodizing. These are just water spots left behind by a too fast drying process and will wipe off with a wet cloth. If you want a shinier finish just apply a light coat of oil.

This accessory does NOT affect the accuracy of the weapon in any way.

The MFI SOCOM Fake Silencer slides over your barrel and is held on by 3 steel cup tipped set screws, which will securely hold the shroud in place. The steel cup tipped set screws will dent your barrel unless you protect your barrel in some manner.

You can index / position the dimples or holes any where you like as the rotation of the outer body is stabilized / stopped by the set screws that makes contact with your barrel.
