MFI 2.25" Long AR15 1/2 X 28 to AR10 5/8 X 24 Steel Adapter / Gets you about 1.60" of Extension (from the bottom of the threads on your barrel, NOT the end of the muzzle) / Price Includes S&H via USPS 1st Class & Insurance.

These were left over adapters from the original MFI M4 & SOCOM style Fake Silencers that only had one end threaded. When I moved from the 0.750" hole in the Older Version of the M4 & SOCOM cans and to the larger 0.803" hole for the M4-A2 & SOCOM Solid Fake Silencers / Barrel Shrouds, I had to do something with the old adapters.

So I threaded the end that was smooth on the outside to a standard AR10 / AR-10 thread which is 5/8 X 24. And added a wrench flat to the exterior.

These are partially plated as the threading and the addition of wrench flats are in the white / bare metal. Plating in Black Oxide to have an all black finish is an option. Current finish is in most cases a slightly faded black as these are 20+ years old. The areas where the metal are in the white may have some brown staining from light oxidation aka surface rust, which can be easly cleaned with steel wool.

Changing the female thread from 1/2 X 28 to a larger thread like 15mm, 16mm, or 5/8 X 24 and others is also an option as well.

We deliberately made this adapter / barrel extension out of steel so it can easily be to meet BATF permanently attached criteria via MIG or TIG welding. Aluminum extensions are a bad idea as the heat exchange from firing will erode the inside of the aluminum extension very quickly, whereas steel lasts almost forever. All NFA & BATF Rules apply.
